All public hospitals managed by the Ribera healthcare group under administrative concession, the university hospitals of Vinalopo y Torrejon and the hospital of Denia, have received the TOP20 award for the best Global Management in the category of "Large general hospitals", in a ceremony held yesterday and attended by representatives from each of the health centers.
In addition, the Torrejón University Hospital has been recognized with the TOP20 award for the Digestive Area without low-frequency surgery and for the Musculoskeletal Area without back surgery. For its part, the Denia Hospital has received the corresponding award for its Nervous System Area, in the category of hospitals without Neurosurgery.

TOP 20 Hospitals is a hospital evaluation program based on objective indicators, obtained from data that is routinely recorded through the Minimum Basic Data Set.
It offers the health sector a useful tool for improving results, based on indicators of quality, operation and efficiency, as well as recognizing good practices in the sector.
The TOP 20 Hospitals Program conducts research annually by Iasist that is evaluated by a Scientific Commission made up of various academic authorities, clinics, etc. and an Advisory Commission made up of representatives of the different health services. The Scientific Commission acts as an advisory body on the technical, methodological and scientific aspects of the project to gradually introduce improvements in this area.
