    Ribera and the Valencian Pilota Federation collaborate to ensure the health of the pilotaris

    • The Ribera IMSKE Valencia hospital is the reference center for health services and checks for professionals in this sport.
    • The CEO of the Ribera group, Elisa Tarazona, was one of the first professional pelota women in the Valencian Community

    The health and physical condition of the professional Valencian baseball team is in good hands, thanks to the collaboration agreement signed between the health group Ribera and Federation of Pilota Valenciana yesterday. Under this agreement, the entire staff of professionals from the Valencian pilota has at their disposal the hospital's medical equipment and cutting-edge technology. Ribera IMSKE Valencia as a reference for any incident related to your sporting activity. In addition, the health center, inaugurated in 2020 and located in the Maritime district of Valencia, will annually host stress tests for the professional staff.

    The signing ceremony of the agreement was attended yesterday by the CEO of the Ribera health group, Elisa Tarazona, and the vice president of Promotion of the Valencian Pilota Federation, Belén Puchal, in addition to some players from the professional team, who had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the modern facilities and state-of-the-art technology that the Ribera IMSKE Valencia hospital has. 

    The CEO of Ribera, Elisa Tarazona, who was also one of the first female professional pelota players in the Valencian Community, explained during the presentation that “the collaboration with the Valencian Pilota Federation arose very naturally, since the Ribera IMSKE hospital Valencia is dedicated to sports medicine and everything related to sports and health, with personalized attention to each patient, adjusted to their needs.” The health center, says Tarazona, “wants to become a reference hospital, very specialized, to provide service to Valencian pilota professionals.”

    The vice president of Promotion of the Valencian Pilota Federation, Belén Puchal, added that “for the Federation, this collaboration agreement is a very important step, because we ensure that our players have quality medical care specialized in prevention. and the treatment of pathologies related to the pilot's sports practice.” The federation board added that it hopes that “this collaboration will expand gradually.”
