The health group Ribera has vaccinated its professionals in record time since the first consignment of vaccines was received by the Ministry of Health in the Torrevieja Health Departments y Vinalopo. A total of 3.000 professionals have attended their vaccination appointment since it began on January 8. In just five days, practically all professionals from all professional categories who work both in hospitals and health centers have received the vaccine, including outsourced service personnel such as cleaning or security, among others.
In short, Ribera has vaccinated 85% of its professionals and will soon schedule a day to administer the doses to all those who have not been able to attend their appointment for various reasons.
The group has had a "vaccinating team" in each center to administer the doses with agility, efficiency and safety guarantees, enabling an internal circuit with several simultaneous vaccination points.
In total, in the Torrevieja Health Department the percentage of total professionals vaccinated amounts to 88.5%, registering a vaccination rate of 88% in the hospital and 90% of those vaccinated in Primary Care centers.
For its part, the Vinalopó Health Department has vaccinated 81% of its professionals, reaching a rate of 78.4% in the hospital and a rate of 89.5% vaccinated in Primary Care centers.
It should be remembered that, as it is the Pfizer vaccine, the vaccination protocol contemplates a second dose at 21 days. The administration is indicated for all professionals who carry out their professional work in the health field, being contraindicated only in the case of pregnant women or people planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, as well as in professionals who are in isolation due to close contact or by positive in Covid19.
Once again, Ribera's effort is evident, which, following the instructions of the health authorities, has achieved an exceptional vaccination rate in record time. "Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have worked to guarantee the protection and safety of our professionals, our main value, so that healthcare is possible," says Carlos Catalán, Ribera's Care Director.
