    • 98% of candidates rate this tool positively and highlight the objectivity of the process and the 24/7 support.

El Ribera healthcare group has taken a decisive step in the digital transformation of its talent attraction processes with the incorporation of “MARIA”, an artificial intelligence-based agent developed by Orbio AI[Company Name], a Spanish company specializing in the application of artificial intelligence to transform human resource management. This initiative, a pioneer in the healthcare sector, addresses the challenge of managing the high volume of applications received by the group in an agile and objective manner. —27.000 annually— with a selection team that handles more than 4.300 processes each year.

In an environment marked by a shortage of healthcare professionals, high career mobility, and a turnover rate exceeding 20% in some categories, Ribera has opted for a solution that allows HR departments to expedite processes and reduce uncertainty for candidates in the initial stages of the selection process. Since its implementation, 115 professionals have already been hired, and the group expects to surpass 500 hires using this tool by 2026.

The project's objectives from the outset were to improve the candidate experience and free up valuable time for the talent team, allowing them to focus on later, more critical stages of the selection process. In this way, MarIA operates with a human advisor, becoming an assistant to the HR team that provides clarity, without replacing the human team or being responsible for decision-making.

Advanced technology to humanize the process

MarIA, developed by Orbio AI in close collaboration with Ribera's Human Resources Department, integrates advanced artificial intelligence and natural language processing capabilities to conduct initial resume screening, perform preliminary interviews, and continuously answer inquiries through channels such as WhatsApp, phone calls, or instant messaging. If a candidate prefers a different interview format, the tool offers alternative options.

In this regard, MarIA offers 24/7 availability, supports candidates throughout the entire process, and generates a real-time matching score based on job requirements, all under the highest standards of security and data protection—an essential requirement in the healthcare sector. Furthermore, it operates with objective criteria defined by human resources specialists to ensure the fairest possible process, eliminating biases based on age, gender, or origin.

Measurable results: greater agility and objectivity, and a better experience

MarIA has freed the recruitment team from over 750 hours of administrative work, which is now invested in tasks of greater strategic value. 10.000 candidate assessments have been carried out and over 3.200 initial interviews have been completed, representing a 63% increase in pre-selection interviews.

In this regard, an 80% improvement in the process completion rate has been achieved, along with a 98% positive rating from candidates, who highlight the immediacy and ease of use, as well as the objectivity of the process.

“It is a real honor to have the trust of a leading company like Ribera to deploy our technology in such a demanding environment as healthcare.”, says Nacho Travesí, CRO and co-founder of Orbio AI. “Thanks to MarIA, not only have personnel selection processes been accelerated, but it has also generated unprecedented talent intelligence.”

“At Ribera, we know that attracting talent is a real challenge for the healthcare sector. When we started this project, we set ourselves two major challenges: transforming the candidate experience and streamlining our process. MarIA has fostered the development of new digital skills within the team, candidates are satisfied, and the team is people-focused.”"Says Salvador Sanchis, Director of People and Organization at Ribera."

With the addition of MarIA, the Ribera group consolidates its position as a benchmark in innovation and at the forefront of talent management in the healthcare field.
