With the aim of raising awareness of their situation and supporting research, the Torrejón University Hospital, managed by Ribera, has organized a special event with several free events next Friday, October 24, in collaboration with the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) and the Torrejón de Ardoz City Council.
The day will begin at 4:00 PM in the hospital's auditorium with a series of talks led by specialists. Participants will include Dr. Julia Camps, corporate head of the Breast Area; Dr. Magda Palka, oncologist in charge of the Breast Unit; and Dr. Emilia Ferrer, the hospital's gynecologist. Nerea Tabares, the AECC volunteer coordinator, will explain the resources the Association provides to patients and families. Following the talks, a Zumba class will begin at 5:00 PM on the esplanade in front of the hospital roundabout. New areas, units and specialized techniques in Ribera Hospitals
