    Ribera Salud carries out massive tests on its professionals and the staff of outsourced services

    • More than 7.000 tests will be carried out on health personnel and also on cleaning, catering, security, maintenance and other external services that carry out their work in health centers

    Ribera Health It has begun to carry out massive tests on the health professionals in its centers, as well as resident doctors, ambulance personnel, cleaning, catering, security, maintenance and other external services that carry out their work in health centers . The objective is to guarantee the safety of professionals and patients and avoid contagion of COVID19.

    The health group will carry out more than 7.000 diagnostic tests on the professionals in its centers. Yesterday they started in the Torrejón University Hospital, today they have started in the Torrevieja University Hospital at the rate of 160 tests per hour in five consultations, and in the coming days they will be carried out at the University Hospital of Vinalopó. It is also being evaluated for the Povisa Hospital in Vigo and the Santa Justa Hospital, in the province of Badajoz.

    Following the recommendations of the health authorities, this is one more extraordinary measure of the many that the health group has implemented since the beginning of the health crisis to protect its professionals, with 90% of the material managed internally, specific safety protocols, differentiated circuits and remodeling of infrastructures, and which has allowed its hospitals to register the lowest rates of infection among professionals.

    These are serological tests for the detection of antibodies against SARS-CoV-2, one of the measures agreed by the organization as a control mechanism and knowledge of the prevalence of this disease.

    The objective is to facilitate the creation of the safest and most favorable scenario possible for both patients and professionals., in the context of the gradual and orderly resumption of care activity in all the health centers of the group.
