- Ribera Salud has acquired a shareholding in Pro Diagnostic Group (PGD), which is added to the one already acquired in 2017, reaching 66% of the Slovak company.

Ribera Salud has become the majority shareholder of the Slovak company Pro Diagnostic Group (PDG). The Spanish company became a shareholder of PDG in October with a share which has now expanded to acquire the 66%.
Thus, Ribera Salud consolidates its international expansion becoming a reference shareholder of the Slovak radiology and nuclear medicine company, and lays the foundations to create a platform for future growth in other Central and Eastern European countries.
Alberto de Rosa, CEO of Ribera Salud, has highlighted the great importance of this operation for the company. "Being a majority partner of PDG, one of the main companies in the healthcare field in Central Europe, allows us to consolidate ourselves in the country and be a reference in the region", has affirmed of Rosa.
The 10 health centers with which the company works in Slovakia have the latest technology in medical imaging, which, together with qualified personnel, allows them to offer the most modern diagnostic methods. Specifically, Pro Diagnostic Group offers its MRI services in eight health centers: the Kramáre University Hospital; the Nové Zámky University Hospital; the Zilina health center; Presov University Hospital; Ruzinov University Hospital; Levice hospital; the Poprad hospital and the East Slovak Cancer Institute in Kosice. In nuclear medicine, it has the Dr. Magnet public-private collaboration center, while in diagnostic radiology, it offers its services through the Pro-RTG center.
