    Ribera Salud participates in the summer courses of the Complutense University of Madrid

    • The group participates from July 24 to 26 in the course 'Love: anatomy, medicine, history and politics'.

    Within the framework of its commitment to training, the Ribera Salud group will offer, together with the Complutense University of Madrid, at the El Escorial headquarters, the course 'Love: anatomy, medicine, history and politics'  24 26 of the July.

    This course proposes a multidisciplinary journey through one of the basic emotions: love, through its history and its academic understanding, from ethology to philosophy, or from clinical psychology to fine arts. It is coordinated by the Dr Javier Moscoso, professor of History and Philosophy of Science at the Center for Human and Social Sciences (CSIC), and has the collaboration of specialists from very diverse fields, who will explore the ways in which this emotion has been defined and categorized throughout of history.

    Dr. Vicente Palop, the group's medical adviser, will participate with the presentation 'Brushstrokes about love and health'. He will be accompanied on this three-day training session by the sociologist and historian and Anagrama Essay Award winner, Patricia Soley-Beltran; the pictorial technique of the Prado Museum, Ana Gonzalez Mozo and the teachers Nuria Godon (Florida Atlantic University), Jose Lazaro and Angel Peña (Complutense University), Javier Ordoñez and Ana Fidalgo (Autonomous University of Madrid), Juan Manuel Zaragoza (University of Murcia), Immaculate Holes (University of Granada) and alino martinez (Castilla-La Mancha University).
