- After an initial selection and in collaboration with GeeksHubs, the subsidiary of the health group grants a dozen young professionals a "Bootcamp in House" training and their immediate incorporation into the company
- FutuRS already has close to 200 workers but plans new hires for the new plant that is being set up in Madrid
Ribera Health has reinforced the training and hiring of talent, as a result of the expansion of its technology subsidiary futuRS, which has close to 200 workers and which will shortly open a new plant in Madrid, with an initial capacity of 100 jobs.
FutuRS has a clear commitment to technology and innovation as catalysts for the transformation of Health. This vision is reinforced with the support of Centene Corporation -one of the largest healthcare companies in the United States and the United States and majority shareholder of Ribera Salud- through the participation of FutuRS in long-term international projects. On this occasion, Ribera Salud has decided to grant a scholarship for the training of a dozen young people, in collaboration with GeeksHubs and facilitate the “Bootcamp in House” learning for eight weeks, to incorporate at least 10 of them in the new FutuRS offices in the capital of Spain. Bootcamps are specialized training programs designed for students to develop skills and competencies in an intensive and practical way. In fact, given the eminently practical orientation of the bootcamps, the young people selected in this program carry out their training in an environment very similar to the one they will experience in their future work, which allows them to soak up the culture of the company while expanding their training in the areas required for the positions that are offered”.
“The technology sector evolves at a frenetic pace, we have grown a lot in the last year and we have projects with cutting-edge technology where the number of specialists is limited. We believe that "in-house bootcamps" are a very powerful tool to complement with specific knowledge, minimize the learning curve in new hires and facilitate the professional development of our team", says Pablo González, director of FutuRS.
This commitment to technological and specialized training of young talent by Ribera Salud and its technological subsidiary originates from the almost constant reinforcement of its workforce in the digital area, to cover the growing demand for profiles that can specialize in the development of applications, models and programs focused on improving healthcare, both in healthcare group centers and long-term international projects. Cloud development, system administrators, database, helpdesk or security specialists are some of the most demanded profiles.
In addition to its own developments, the Ribera Salud technology company works on co-creation projects with startups within the framework of its strategic agreement with Lanzadera. FutuRS provides technological and healthcare support to the selected projects, incorporating innovative solutions that add value to both patients and professionals. He currently collaborates with five startups: Humanitcare, Serenmind, Legit Health, Freedom and flow and Tucuvi.
It is because of all these initiatives and projects that the recruitment of talent, with STEM training (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), but also healthcare, has become a priority for the healthcare group and its digital arm. In fact, the new FutuRS website (www.futurshealth.com) incorporates direct access to the profiles most requested by the company and facilitates the presentation of applications for future employees.
