    Ribera signs an agreement with the Ministry of Equality and highlights plans and actions against violence and discrimination

    • In the context of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the health group remembers that it was a pioneer in its equality plans and non-discrimination policies in its Code of Ethics
    • In the 2022 Sustainability Report, Ribera states that 70% of its professionals are women, 90% of its team is permanent and highlights its commitment to conciliation and remuneration, promotion and training unrelated to gender details.

    The health group Ribera has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Equality that demonstrates its commitment to contributing, with different actions, to a society without discrimination and free of gender violence.

    In the context of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, celebrated on November 25, the healthcare group has highlighted plans and actions included in the different collective agreements, equality plans, in its Code of Ethics and in the policy of People who confirm their commitment against violence and discrimination based on gender and any other cause. In fact, several Ribera work centers were pioneers in approving equality plans, whose objective is to guarantee the same training opportunities, in the professional career and in the internal promotion policy for all the group's professionals. “The well-being of our professionals is our priority, and that is why we have policies and initiatives that pursue their well-being in all its dimensions, prioritizing family conciliation through different actions included in our equality plans,” they explain from the People Area. of the group.

    Among other measures, and as stated in the group's latest Sustainability Report, teleworking is encouraged among non-care staff, using and facilitating the group's means and applications for this purpose; Shifts are reorganized for professionals with work-life balance difficulties; work days are adapted; Entry and exit times are made more flexible and adapted; and reductions in working hours and internal transfers are agreed, among other measures. The group places special emphasis on those measures aimed at protecting and facilitating the conditions of victims of gender violence.

    Furthermore, at Ribera they have internal regulations that include different behavioral guidelines, promoting respect for diversity, equality, and non-discrimination, and included in both their Code of Ethics and the group's Code of Conduct.

    With all these measures already assumed in the day-to-day life of the health group, Ribera's commitment is, as explained by the group's Management, "to continue developing specific policies to promote a work environment free of prejudices in terms of employment, training and promotion.”
