The health group Ribera has signed an agreement for the acquisition of HCB Hospitals GroupThis advances the process initiated in June 2025 and developed over the past few months by its management team. This is Ribera's largest investment in the private sector to date and consolidates its position as the second largest healthcare group in Spain by revenue, reinforcing its position in the Valencian Community.
The HCB Hospitals Group is a private healthcare group with 40 years of history and a strong presence in the Valencian Community. With a team of over 650 professionals, it has two hospitals in Benidorm and Denia, three medical centers in Calpe, Moraira, and Albir, and two diagnostic imaging centers in Alicante. Its acquisition significantly expands Ribera's healthcare capacity in the Valencian Community, where it already manages two hospitals, 14 primary care centers, four clinics, and other services such as a dialysis center, the headquarters of its laboratory division Ribera Lab, and the headquarters of its technology company Futurs.
Ribera participated in a structured and competitive process, being selected for the strength of its healthcare project, its experience in hospital management and its long-term development vision.
This addition is part of the group's growth plan and the European project that Ribera is developing together with its main shareholder. Vivalto SantéIn recent months, the company has strengthened its international expansion with its entry into Poland and the development of its diversification strategy in Central Europe, with a presence in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
