- It has a specialized unit for post-surgical rehabilitation and injury recovery, especially in the area of Traumatology, 53 hospital beds, radiodiagnostic services and more than 40 professionals.
- The medical centre was already collaborating with the other hospital of the Ribera group in Prague, OB Klinic, specialised in bariatric surgery, but with increasing traumatological activity, linked to hip and knee implants.
The health group Ribera continues its expansion and diversification process in Central Europe, through its subsidiary Pro Diagnostic Group (CEO), with the incorporation of the clinic MediCentrum to its healthcare network, a healthcare centre specialising in post-surgical rehabilitation, especially in the area of Traumatology, which combines outpatient and inpatient treatment.
The medical centre, located in Prague (Czech Republic), has 53 hospital beds, advanced radiodiagnostic and treatment services and a staff of more than 40 healthcare professionals with extensive experience.
MediCentrum has an excellent reputation in the Czech Republic for the quality of its services and began its activity in 1997. Its rehabilitation programmes for all types of injuries and prosthetics have made this medical centre a benchmark in this area.
The aim of the incorporation of MediCentrum is to strengthen the presence of the Ribera group, through its subsidiary PDG, in Central Europe and to diversify and enhance the integration of services and the consolidation of a highly specialized healthcare network. In this regard, it is worth highlighting that MediCentrum is a centre with which Ribera has been collaborating for some time, through its surgical centre specialising in bariatric surgery, OB Klinic, the most advanced in the country in this type of surgery and which in recent years has been substantially increasing its traumatological activity, with hip and knee replacements, especially for overweight patients. In addition, it is worth remembering that Ribera also has two leading diagnostic imaging centres in Prague and Melnik.
