Ribera constitutes a foundation to help improve the overall health, well-being and quality of life of people

    • The BOE published on June 2 the Resolution of March 7 of this year of the General Directorate of Legal Security and Public Faith, by which it is registered in the Registry of Foundations
    • The president of the "Ribera Salud" Foundation is the CEO of the health group, Elisa Tarazona, and of the five members of the Board of Trustees, four are doctors

The Ribera health group has set up its own foundation in order to "contribute to improving the overall health, quality of life and well-being of people" while "responding to the social commitment of the Ribera group with the current or future population" . This is stated in the Official State Gazette (BOE), which today publishes the Resolution of March 7 of this year of the General Directorate of Legal Security and Public Faith, by which the "Ribera Salud" foundation is registered in the Registry of Foundations.

The president of the Ribera Foundation is the CEO of the health group, Elisa Tarazona, who is "very proud" of the corporation's new project because it will allow "to give a further boost to key areas for the present and the future of health care such as research, teaching and innovation”. Together with her, they are part of the Board of Trustees Alberto de Rosa, executive director of Centene for Europe and director of Ribera; Dr. Carlos Catalán, care director of the group; Dr. Javier Palau, currently managing director of the Denia Health Department, which manages the Ribera group; and Dr. Julia Camps, corporate director of the Breast Area. Thus, most of the members of the Board of Trustees of the foundation are health workers.

The BOE highlights, among the purposes of the Foundation, the will to promote and promote the model of preventive, predictive, participatory, personalized and population medicine of the Ribera health group. “The Foundation tries to promote innovation and build a better future, giving people the necessary tools to improve their quality of life through health management and education,” he points out. In addition, he "commits to cutting-edge research, including new emerging diseases that can generate pandemics."
