The health group Ribera is moving forward in its strategy to grow and diversify its activity and has just added a clinic specializing in Pulmonology and Immunoallergology to its network of health centers, PneumoAlergoCentrum (PAC), located in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, through its subsidiary Pro Diagnostic Group (CEO). This clinic also has a sleep disorder assessment area and offers pulmonary rehabilitation to patients with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), persistent COVID, or asthma, among others.
PDG is the leading diagnostic imaging company in Slovakia. Founded in 2011, it stands out for its advanced technology and the specialization and training of its team. It has more than 350 professionals and is made up of six companies providing radiology and nuclear medicine services, operating through more than 20 diagnostic, surgical, and rehabilitation centers in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Poland. The company specializes in techniques such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), ultrasound (USG), and X-ray and positron emission tomography (PET/CT). Last July, it incorporated Medican, a specialized surgical center in the Slovak city of Trnava, which has two operating rooms, primarily dedicated to Traumatology and General Surgery. And in September, it confirmed the acquisition of the Polish healthcare group. Multi Med, which marked its entry into Poland. Ribera has owned 100% of PDG since 2022.
The incorporation of PneumoAlergoCentrum (PAC) into Ribera through PDG confirms the group's commitment to growth and diversification in Spain and Europe. Since 2022, the group has closed 13 transactions and is firmly committed to Central Europe, with four transactions in the last twelve months, including several specialized centers in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Poland.
In the case of PneumoAlergoCentrum (PAC), the growing demand for healthcare in the areas of Pulmonology and Immunoallergology has been multiplied by the negative health effects of COVID-19, which continues to cause adverse effects in many patients, other respiratory viruses, and habits such as smoking.
Furthermore, this operation fosters synergies with other PDG healthcare centers. Many diagnoses in Pulmonology require imaging tests, especially CT and X-rays, which are PDG's specialty, which facilitates comprehensive patient care and the provision of the highest quality healthcare.
Ribera Group CEO Pablo Gallart confirmed that "Ribera's intention is to continue growing in Europe, and Central Europe in particular, where we are consolidating our position as a provider of highly specialized, top-quality healthcare, thanks to our excellent CEO team."
