Ribera acquires the Hospital Polusa de Lugo

El Ribera healthcare group has completed the acquisition of control of Hospital Polusa de Lugo after the National Competition Market Commission (CNMC) has given the green light. Following the agreement last July with a group of shareholders, the operation was pending this latest authorization. The advisors have been Cuatrecasas in the legal area and Deloitte in the financial area.

With this project, Ribera consolidates its growth in the Galician community, where it has had the Hospital Povisa de Vigo since the end of 2019.

Elisa Tarazona, CEO of Ribera Salud, assures that "with Hospital Polusa we reaffirm our commitment to Galician healthcare, and our will to continue growing and developing our responsible healthcare model, with the goal of always responding to the challenges that society demands of us. Dr. Tarazona wanted to highlight "the extraordinary work carried out by the Polusa professionals" and the commitment of the Ribera group "for close healthcare, which, with the drive of innovation and technology, allows us to continue offering maximum well-being to the population we serve, which, ultimately, is our reason for being”.
