Ribera agrees with the unions of his hospital in Elche labor improvements while negotiations continue in Dénia

    • This III Collective Agreement signed in the Vinalopó Health Department, which will be valid until December 31, 2023, includes a salary increase, reduces working hours and guarantees job stability
    • The agreement has been ratified today by Ribera and the majority of the Works Council: CCOO, CSIF, SATSE, SI-CV and USAE, thanks to the willingness to negotiate and common objectives between both parties.
    •  The dialogue between the company and unions in Vinalopó contrasts with the current situation of the negotiation in Dénia where the Works Council plans to go on strike

Ribera, the group that manages the Dénia Health Department, has signed the III Collective Agreement at its hospital in Elche, by majority, together with the representatives of the workers CCOO, CSIF, SATSE, SI-CV and USAE, after two years of negotiation.

The signing of the agreement, valid until December 31, 2023, has been possible thanks to the understanding between the company and union representatives who, with a willingness to negotiate, have managed to unite positions to improve the working conditions of employees.

As the most outstanding measures, this Agreement includes a salary increase of 1,5% in 2022 and 1,5% in 2023 (0,5% conditional on compliance with the Organization's result). In addition, it increases 1 day off for workers with more than 10 years in the Organization and reduces the working day by 2023.

From the company's HR area, they highlight "the will and willingness of the workers' representatives, who at a time as complex as the current one have put the interests of all the professionals of the Department of Health before reaching an agreement satisfactory for all of them.

This agreement comes at the same time that the Denia Department of Health Works Committee, also managed by Ribera, proposes new pressure measures to improve the conditions of its professionals. Recently, this Committee announced the call for a workers' Assembly to decide whether to call a strike at the Hospital.

For Salvador Sanchis, director of people of the Ribera group, "the signing of this III Agreement in Elche is another example of the determined commitment of our professionals and the will to reach agreements by Ribera when there is a willingness to negotiate and common objectives between both parts.”

The approval of the Collective Agreement is in tune with the Organization's values, since Ribera trusts people and maintains its commitment to citizens; It is committed to reconciling work and personal life and prioritizes quality, training, Career and Professional Development.
