Graduated in Hispanic Philology from the University of Navarra, Paula began her career at the Ribera Povisa Hospital in June 2000 in the Admission Service, where she has efficiently performed different functions throughout these years, until February 2021, date on which she was appointed head of Admissions.
Daniel García Millán has been the financial director of the Ribera Povisa hospital since April 2023.
With a degree in Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid and a master's degree in Account Auditing and Management Development, Daniel has more than 10 years of experience in financial departments with an efficient orientation to achieving objectives.
In his previous experiences he worked for the Services division of the Ferrovial Group, including in this stage an international experience in its International subsidiary located in Austin (Texas). He began his career working at Deloitte as a Financial Auditor. Daniel joined the financial department of the Ribera Group in April 2020, as financial and consolidation controller, among other functions to take charge of supervising the group's Galician Hub.
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Dr. Iglesias specialized in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Hospital Complex of A Coruña, and has a doctorate in Medicine and Surgery from the USC. In addition, she has completed her training with various master's degrees, including the Executive Master in Management of Healthcare Organizations from ESADE and the Specialty MBA in Healthcare Management from the IMF Business School.
Emma Iglesias has developed her healthcare activity in different hospital centers, both public and private, and has notable training and experience in healthcare management. She has been in charge of the medical direction of an important university hospital in Madrid.
She joined the Ribera Povisa Hospital 20 years ago where she worked as CIO, IT Director, previously 4 years in a multinational strategic consulting, technological services and outsourcing company. At the same time, since 2002, University Professor, accredited by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) as a Contracted Doctor and, since 2018, collaborator of the Economic Analysis of Markets and Institutions (AEMI) research group of the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC).
Graduate in Mathematics, Master in Economics and Health Management, Doctor “cum laude” in Economics with a strong career as a Researcher/Scientist, and Astronomer at the Ramón María Aller Astronomical Observatory of the USC. Trajectory validated by the Award for the best article published in 2015 on Health Management and Health Economics in a scientific journal by the Autonomous University of Madrid, UAM Chair – Asisa, and by the “Valentín Paz Andrade” Award for research in the Economy of Galicia of 2017, from the Economic and Social Council of Galicia (CES) and the University Institute of Studies and Development of Galicia (IDEGA). Multiple scientific publications and PhD studies in Mathematical Analysis and Numerical Resolution of Models in Physics and Engineering and PhD studies in Mathematical Economics.
Alfonso Pimentel has been the Director of General Services at the Ribera Povisa Hospital since 2011. He began his professional career more than 20 years ago in the area of purchasing, logistics and supplies in the industrial and automotive spare parts distribution sector. In 2007 he began his career in the health sector by joining the Ribera Povisa Hospital where he has managed the areas of logistics and supplies, purchasing, hospitality, maintenance and cleaning.
Alfonso Pimentel is an Industrial Engineer with a specialty in Industrial Organization from the University of Vigo and has an Executive MBA from the IESIDE Business School in Vigo.
Paco Susavila has served as Director of Human Resources at the Ribera-Povisa Hospital since 2009, coordinating the Human Resources team and the Occupational Risk Prevention team, being responsible for the implementation of Human Resources policies.
Graduate in Sociology, Master in Human Resources Management. In his training he also has a Higher Course in Business Management and Direction from IESE and a Master in Occupational Risk Prevention.
In his previous professional career he worked in the Automotive sector coordinating Human Resources internationalization processes.
Graduated in medicine and surgery from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Álvaro continued his professional career combining public and private activity. Since 2006 he belongs to the Ribera Povisa team where he has been Medical Coordinator, Head of Reception and Deputy to the Care Management since 2011.
Extensive experience in health management, collaborator in university teaching (U. Vigo, U. Santiago de Compostela and U. Complutense de Madrid), courses and presentations in national and international forums related to management and private health. He carried out his work at Hospital Povisa since its inception, as head of the areas of Audit and Internal Organization, Purchasing, Costs, Quality Management, Diagnostic Coding, Coordination, Planning and Systems, as well as a collaborator in various expert consulting firms in turnkey hospitals. hand (Tecplanhosa, Codhe, Coritel and PyD).
He participated in various projects, both at the national and regional levels (April Report, Vigo 92, Plan Malta, White Paper on Admission Services, Study calculating cost per process in Sergas and subsidized hospitals, Coordination by DRG, Concertation based on population capita) and collaborated with IBM in hospital computerization projects in Latin America and in innovation projects in Madrid, Austria and Belgium.
During his time as Systems Director, the hospital was Accredited in Joint Commission International, in EMRAM-Himss Europe and the Award for Excellence in Quality (Avedis Donabedian).
University Diploma and Master's Degree in Management and Organization of Hospitals and Health Services, from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
Since 2020, Cristina Serra has been Director of Nursing at the Ribera Povisa Hospital.
Graduated in Nursing from the University of Alicante, she completes her training with the Master's Degree in Health Management from the UDIMA and the Master's Degree in Integration in Care and Resolution of Clinical Nursing Problems at the UAH.
He obtained the first scholarship of his class for the Collaboration of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports for the development of two research studies at the University of Alicante.
In 2018, she was appointed Family and Community Nursing Supervisor responsible for the implementation of the care continuity model in the community area of Torrevieja, a position she held for several years until now.
With 12 years of experience in hospital management positions and a solid career in insurance companies, Ángela Guerra is a professional with proven experience in the healthcare world, with great management skills and a participative leadership style. She has a global vision of the hospital sector and solid knowledge of the private sector, as well as experience in collaboration formulas with public administration.
Ángela Guerra is a doctor in Medicine and General Surgery from the University of Valladolid, with a specialty in family and community medicine, and also in occupational medicine.
Dr. Guerra began her professional career in a well-known insurance company as a medical coordinator for Castilla y León and later joined another project in which she was manager of three hospitals in this same community. Subsequently, he worked for ten years in various healthcare groups, holding different management positions. During the last 4 years she has carried out her work as managing director in a hospital center in Vitoria.
