Conchi Estévez gave a solidarity reading in the Dialysis, Day Hospital, Pain Unit and Complex Chronic Patient Unit of Ribera Povisa
Conchi Estévez, founder of the NGO Aire do Mar, celebrated Book Day by reading the children's story "O barco de Nadal" to users of the dialysis services, day hospital, pain unit and complex chronic patient unit of the Ribera Povisa Hospital.
The funds that the NGO raises from the sale of this story will be used to pay for a boat trip for 150 children with cancer and their parents, on December 6th.
Estévez also announced that a second Aire do Mar book, titled "The Adventures of Coralina," is already in the works. Coralina is the puppet that accompanies her during her readings in hospitals. The book itself recounts these experiences.
