Urology

A graduate in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Zaragoza in 2005, he completed his Urology residency at the University Hospital of A Coruña (CHUAC) in 2012. Since then, he has practiced as a Urology specialist at the Lucus Augusti University Hospital (HULA), where he is a member of the clinical tumor board and the pelvic floor clinical board. He is a tutor for Urology residents and the principal investigator in clinical trials for prostate and bladder cancer, as well as benign prostatic hyperplasia and overactive bladder.

He furthered his training through a Fellowship in Laparoscopy with Dr. Renaud Bollens and the Belgian Laparoscopy and Robotics group in 2011. In addition, he completed residencies at Galdakao Hospital and Virgen Blanca Clinic in Bilbao and at the University Hospital of Pontevedra in 2012 focused on performing percutaneous surgery, endourology of the upper urinary tract, laparoscopy and robotic surgery. 

He has also participated in NGO programs with the Spanish-Guatemalan Surgical Brigade of Urology and received various research awards and grants from the Spanish and Galician societies of urology.
