Rehabilitation
Often, after overcoming the acute phase of an injury, illness, or surgical procedure, a rehabilitation process is necessary to achieve the best possible outcome, allowing a return to normal routine and preventing future complications. Likewise, in some cases, the complications are already established, and adaptations are needed to improve quality of life.
In our clinic, you can consult with the Rehabilitation Physician to assess and establish an individualized and appropriate treatment program for each case.
The area is divided into different care lines according to the reason for treatment:
- Osteoarticular: sports injuries (muscle overload, sprains, muscle fiber rupture, tendinitis, contractures, fasciitis), spinal problems (cervicalgia, lumbago, sciatica), joint problems (osteoarthritis, arthritis), sequelae of fractures, etc.
- Neurological: stroke sequelae, degenerative diseases, facial paralysis, etc.
- Vestibular: dizziness, balance problems, etc.
- Pelvic floor: urinary incontinence, postpartum, etc.
- Lymphedema
- Cardiorespiratory: COPD, acute myocardial infarction, etc.
In addition, we work as a multidisciplinary team with physiotherapists and have a gym, offering different therapies adapted to the needs of each patient:
