• Treatment model
  During the first visit, a complete evaluation is performed to allow for a diagnosis and treatment plan. It lasts approximately 30 minutes.
  Additionally, further diagnostic tests may be requested to rule out any somatic or medical process that could be causing the symptoms.
  At the end of the evaluation, a detailed explanation of the treatment plan is given. If medication is prescribed, its use is justified and the necessary information is provided, including an explanation of the advantages and disadvantages, possible side effects, and therapeutic alternatives.
  The frequency or duration of successive visits will depend on the type of problem and the severity of the symptoms.
  The treatment consists of the use of different therapeutic tools that include psychiatric and psychotherapeutic treatments depending on the situation of each patient.
