Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery by the University of Santiago de Compostela in 1992.
Completion of the specialization of OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY via MIR at the Central Hospital of Asturias (Oviedo), completed in the year 2000.
After obtaining my specialist degree, I have worked as a gynecologist at the Lucus Augusti Hospital (Lugo), and since 2013 I have also practiced privately at the Santo Domingo Clinic in Lugo.
I am a member of the Spanish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics and the Sociedade Galega de Obstetricia e Xinecoloxía.
Continuing education in various areas, especially in the field of endoscopy, with the acquisition of EUROPEAN CERTIFICATE OF GYNECOLOGICAL ENDOSCOPIC SURGERY.
Teaching collaborator in TRAINING COURSES IN ENDOSCOPIC SURGERY FOR GYNECOLOGY RESIDENTS at the Technological Training Center of the Health Area of Coruña and Cee.
Teaching collaborator with the University of Santiago de Compostela.

Dr. Leticia Álvarez
Graduated in Medicine from the University of Oviedo in 2004.
Doctor of Medicine with Outstanding Cum Laude qualification from the same University in 2010, he obtained the Prize of the Royal Academy of Medicine of Asturias for his doctoral thesis in 2011.
He completed his MIR training at the University Hospital Complex of A Coruña from 2005 to 2009.
She then began her professional career at the Lucus Augusti Hospital in Lugo, where she worked from 2009 until December 2018, when she decided to start her private practice at the Santo Domingo Clinic. She currently combines this private practice with her public service at the University Hospital Complex of A Coruña.
She expanded her training with training stays in the Gynecology Service of the University Hospital of Frankfurt in 2002 and the Obstetrics Services of the San Cecilio University Hospital of Granada in 2012 and of Cruces de Bilbao in 2014.
Our professional activity, as Specialist Physicians in Obstetrics and Gynecology, focuses not only on the healthcare of women's obstetric and gynecological problems but also on the care of their health during all stages of their lives, from the beginning of menstruation to menopause as well as during pregnancy.
