Our model3 - Ribera Sanitary Group

The public-private management model of Ribera Salud

The 4 key ideas for which the Ribera Salud management model is internationally recognized.

PUBLIC-PRIVATE COLLABORATION

The Ribera Salud Group has developed the "Alzira Model", a public-private collaboration model with a long-term approach and strategy. It is a model focused on the PATIENT, based on capitation payment, loyal and lasting collaboration with the Public Administration, the dedication of professionals and the commitment to citizens.

CAPITATIVE PAYMENT

This is the basis of the Alzira Model. Health is financed. Our goal is to achieve the best state of health for citizens. The capitation system, and the individual budget, makes us fully responsible for achieving results.

CARE INTEGRATION

The citizen is the same at all levels of healthcare, and we ALL need to align objectives in order to offer efficient, modern and innovative treatment. We work in a fully integrated system.

NETWORKING

We not only work with hospital-primary, but also with social services, the community (town halls, residences, schools, etc...) Technology allows us greater coordination and collaboration, BETTER CLOSER ASSISTANCE, resulting in greater efficiency and better overall results .

Improve health outcomes, increase patient satisfaction, lower costs

Our way of understanding health

Our management model is developed from a network of services that offers coordinated care to the citizens, patients and caregivers of a specific population, focused on their present and future needs and which is responsible for the results and their costs. Care integration is the tool that facilitates continuity of care and improved efficiency in different areas.

clinical management

We comprehensively manage people's health from transparency and focus on health results. Hence our commitment to clinical management, security surveillance, the incorporation of new ways of working and relating to patients. At Ribera Salud we emphasize prevention and health promotion plans, incorporating new specific procedures for chronic care

Human Resources

Professionals are the fundamental axis in our organization. Since our beginnings, we have developed an innovative, more flexible people management policy, in which we are committed to rewarding effort and dedication. Ongoing training, identification and management of talent, clinical research, teaching and professional career are the five premises on which this policy is based and which contribute to the satisfaction of our professionals.

Technology

Thanks to the implementation of Information and Communication Technologies, we have achieved comprehensive and efficient management of care processes. In addition, these tools allow us to be transparent, as well as agile, when comparing the quality of care of our health programs. On the other hand, they have facilitated the expansion of the different channels of communication between professionals and citizens.

Where are we going?

Towards more integrated healthcare services

We develop new organization models, rationalizing system resources, avoiding duplication and ensuring quality services. For this, the integration of the different care resources (Primary and Specialized Care) has been crucial so that the citizen receives more accessible care, with fewer waiting lists, more complete and close.

Towards a sustainable healthcare system

At Ribera Salud we comprehensively manage the health of the people assigned to our Health Departments from transparency and focus on health results. To do this, we rely on the capitation model that finances health and obliges us to achieve the best state of health for the population. Hence, our commitment to clinical management, security surveillance, the incorporation of new ways of working and relating to patients. At Ribera Salud we place special emphasis on prevention and health promotion plans, incorporating new specific procedures for chronic care.

Towards innovation and progress

Thanks to the implementation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) we have achieved comprehensive and efficient management of care processes. In addition, these tools allow us to be transparent, as well as agile, when comparing the amount of care provided by our health programs. On the other hand, they have facilitated the expansion of the different channels of communication between professionals and citizens.

Towards the attraction and retention of talent

Professionals are the fundamental axis in our organization. Since our beginnings, we have developed a more flexible, innovative people management policy, in which we are committed to compensation for effort and dedication (pay for performance). Ongoing training, identification and management of talent, clinical research, teaching and professional career are the five premises on which this policy is based and which contribute to the satisfaction and feeling of belonging of our professionals.

Towards a personalized care system

We promote health education among the population, preventive policies and self-care. In addition, we have established different procedures that allow us to be more decisive, thus facilitating citizen service. We have developed a Health Portal, a pioneer in Spain, which allows us to be more efficient. For example, consultations without referral in Primary Care, online receipt of test results avoiding unnecessary travel, as well as early diagnosis of certain pathologies in the health center itself, creating a closer and shared environment with the citizen.
