Advantages of MIR and EIR training in Ribera group hospitals

Those responsible for Teaching and training in the hospitals of the Ribera group highlight, for example, that although the teaching committees are independent collegiate bodies with autonomy in each hospital of the group, “having a network of accredited health centers for training offers "gives the resident greater tools to participate in lines of research, as well as in core training areas, always framed and respecting the different training itineraries that emanate from the national commissions of each specialty." Furthermore, regarding future employability, three Ribera hospitals have MIR teaching, but the group currently has twelve hospitals and 58 polyclinics, 1.775 beds and 8.400 professionals.

Another of the differential values of Ribera hospitals for future MIR and EIR, in the opinion of those responsible for Teaching, is personalized training. “We facilitate and enhance their participation, from the beginning, in events and teaching activities, as well as in clinical practice,” they say. In the case of the Vinalopó University Hospital, for example, they assure that its difference with respect to the rest of the departments is in “placing the resident at the center of the training actions, through periodic meetings to obtain feedback of their training, which allows identifying areas of continuous improvement and consolidating the implemented training actions.”
