The hospitals managed by the Ribera health group have once again placed prominently on the prestigious TOP 20 list, a ranking that measures each year the quality of public and private hospital centers throughout Spain. Specifically, the university hospitals of Torrevieja, Vinalopó, Torrejón and Denia have obtained a total of eleven awards, in different categories.
It is worth noting the recognition of the Global Hospital Management which has rewarded the work of four hospitals, in the category of “Great general hospitals”, that is, those with more than 250 beds. With these new awards, the Ribera hospital centers have accumulated 70 Top 20 awards that distinguish the good work done and the excellent operation since its start-up, based on efficient management and the highest quality.
The management team of the centers have expressed their satisfaction for the inclusion of the hospitals they run in the prestigious TOP 20 list and have valued the awards as a recognition of Health, the public-private collaboration model, and above all the work and commitment of its professionals to offer the highest quality care.
Top 20 Awards
TOP 20 Hospitals is a hospital evaluation program based on objective indicators, obtained from data that is routinely recorded through the Minimum Basic Data Set.
It offers the health sector a useful tool for improving results, based on indicators of quality, operation and efficiency, as well as recognizing good practices in the sector.
The TOP 20 Hospitals Program conducts research annually for iasist which is evaluated by a Scientific Commission made up of various academic authorities, clinics, etc. and an Advisory Commission made up of representatives of the different health services. The Scientific Commission acts as a consultative body for the technical, methodological and scientific aspects of the project to gradually introduce improvements in this area.
The objective of the TOP 20 Program is to identify patterns of good practice and recognize the work of those centers that have obtained the best results in the evaluation process.
