The health group Ribera has received the award ABB Ability 2024 in the Large Company category for its teledermatology system with Artificial Intelligence (AI), which allows monitoring of patients with previously diagnosed skin pathologies.

Several hospitals in the Ribera group have a teledermatology program for remote screening, diagnosis and monitoring of skin pathologies such as psoriasis, acne, urticaria, dirosandenitis or atopic dermatitis, facilitating the care of a greater number of patients, guaranteeing the quality of this service thanks to technology and data analysis, and reducing the waiting list in the specialty of Dermatology. The program developed in partnership with Legitimate health, one of the startups of Shuttle with which the group collaborates, allows patients to take and send photographs at a set frequency so that the healthcare professional can correctly monitor the evolution of the pathology and modify the established guidelines or treatments, without the need for the patient to attend a face-to-face consultation.
The Abb Ability Awards 2024 ceremony was held yesterday at the Espacio Ventas in Madrid and the award for the Ribera healthcare group was collected by the group's digital project manager, Esther Aucejo. In this seventh edition, outstanding projects have been recognised for their technological innovation and their positive impact on the social, environmental and economic environment, as well as the commitment to these values promoted by the organisations that drive these initiatives.
