La FundRibera Health ation y Pratia have signed a collaboration agreement to combine clinical and research management experience in order to increase patient access to innovative therapies in three of the hospitals of the Ribera group: the University Hospitals of Vinalopo (Elche) and Torrejon (Madrid) and the Hospital Ribera Povisa (Vigo). The signing was attended by the president of the Foundation and CEO of the Ribera group, Elisa Tarazona; the director of the Foundation and head of the group's Research Area, Mercedes Gozalbo; and the CEO and Country Head of Pratia Spain, Jaime A. Ballester.
This strategic alliance will allow clinical trials to be organized more effectively and efficiently in the aforementioned hospitals, thanks to the synergy of the best professionals from both entities. The objectives of the agreement are to turn this alliance into a benchmark in research, facilitate more therapeutic options for the treatment and improvement of the quality of life of patients, and promote and strengthen the scientific resources and skills of the health personnel involved in them.
The CEO of the group Ribera and president of the Foundation, Elisa Tarazona, explained that the agreement with Pratia “will allow us to jointly carry out a greater number of front-line clinical trials with high-level management, from Phase I to Phase IV.” “Medicine is evolving at the speed of light and, thanks to this agreement with Pratia, we join forces to be part of this revolution,” she added.
Jaime A.
