The virtual caregiver Lola has once again been recognized at prestigious awards and has been a finalist in this year's edition of the ABB Digital Ability Awards, whose awards ceremony was held yesterday at the MGS auditorium in Barcelona. Developed by the startup tucuvi, collaboration with Ribera healthcare group for the growth and development of Lola has allowed this voice and artificial intelligence technology to be applied to the remote monitoring and control of thousands of patients with various pathologies, among others, palliative patients, cancer or not, of the Unit of Home Hospitalization of the Vinalopó University Hospital, a project for which this technology has been recognized in this year's edition of the ABB Ability Digital Awards.
Doctor Maikel Ayo, head of the Vinalopó UHD, assures that "this platform is capable of making multiple calls in a short period of time, without requiring advanced technology on the part of the patient, and all the information provided by the patient and Lola is referred in real time to the health professional responsible for the patient, thus ensuring rapid intervention by the clinical team in cases where it is necessary”.
