On February 26, 2015, during a training session with the Flic Flac Club at the ETEA sports hall in Vigo, he was injured after a fall. After a first diagnosis at the Nuestra Señora de Fátima Hospital, she was transferred to the O Castro medical center, where she was admitted with a fracture of the tibia and fibula in her right leg. On March 2 she was referred to the Povisa Hospital, but given the impossibility of recovering the area affected by ischemia, on March 4 she had her leg amputated by Dr. Manuel Eugenio Lores.
