In response to the news "The Court of Accounts admits a Compromís complaint for a payment of 26 million to RIBERA SALUD for loss of profit in 2002" The Ribera Salud group wishes to state the following:
- Ribera Salud has never received a payment of 26 million for loss of profit in 2002 from the Generalitat Valenciana.
- Ribera Salud UTE, was a Temporary Union of Companies where Ribera Salud was a minority shareholder, and which no longer exists since 2003.
- In 2002, the Valencian Government decided to implement a comprehensive model of Primary and Specialized Care in the La Ribera area and launch a new contest throughout the Valencian Community.
- In La Ribera, the administrative concession model had been in operation since 1999 only for the management of the Hospital and it could not be left out of this comprehensive change.
- For this reason, the initial contract was resolved by mutual agreement to launch a new tender that would incorporate the management of Primary Care and that Alzira would not be left out of this new model.
- In order to resolve the concession by mutual agreement, a payment to the concessionaire had to be included for the investment not amortized as of that date, plus the lost profits due to not being able to comply with the plan submitted to the competition by the company for the 10 years of concession initially planned.
- For this, an audit was carried out by the Generalitat Valenciana, which is documented and has all the legal support.
- The audit carried out, as can be verified in the official documentation, sets the amount of the payment to be made to the concessionaire at 69 million euros, but there was never any outflow of public funds by the Generalitat.
- No payment was made because the specifications for the new tender included an obligation for the new concessionaire to pay an initial contribution of 72 million euros.
- The new tender was awarded to the Unión Temporal de Empresas Ribera Salud II UTE, in which Ribera Salud was a minority shareholder, because no other company appeared, probably due to the complexity of the project or other reasons unknown to us.
- In short, not only was there never any payment to the concessionaire, but for this operation the Generalitat Valenciana obtained 3 million euros because the fee set in the new tender exceeded the compensation set in the rescue.

We are surprised that 17 years later it is denounced by a political party that belongs to a government that has access to all this documentation in its Ministry of Health.
- Ribera Salud is not going to allow his honor and professionalism to be slandered and gratuitously attacked once again for electoral purposes.
