The teledermatology program with Artificial Intelligence (AI) of the Ribera healthcare group has been a finalist in the Telemedicine category of the 9th SaluDigital AwardsThis program speeds up screening, supports diagnosis and monitors patients with previously diagnosed skin conditions such as psoriasis, acne, urticaria, dirosandenitis or atopic dermatitis, among others.

Several hospitals in the Ribera group facilitate this teledermatology programme for screening, diagnostic support and remote monitoring of many skin pathologies. It allows for the care of a greater number of patients, guaranteeing the quality of this service thanks to technology and data analysis by specialist professionals, and reducing the waiting list in the Dermatology specialty. In 2024, Ribera hospitals have included 6.728 patients in this programme and more than 15.200 diagnostic reports have been issued.

The program developed in alliance with Legitimate health, one of the startups of Shuttle with which the Ribera group collaborates, allows patients to take and send photographs at a set frequency, so that the healthcare professional can correctly monitor the evolution of the pathology and modify the established guidelines or treatments, without the need for the patient to attend a face-to-face consultation.

The IX SaluDigital Awards ceremony took place at CaixaForum Madrid and was attended by the head of Dermatology at the Torrejón University Hospital, Dr. Elena Sánchez-Largo, representing the Ribera group, to collect the award.
