Currently, in addition, the center facilitates the possibility of taking any of the Covid tests, as well as the post-vaccination test, to find out the level of antibodies developed. The progressive opening of new external consultations is planned, which will make up the Day Hospital, with a large multidisciplinary team and top-level professionals in specialties such as General Medicine, Nursing Consultation, Physiotherapy or Rehabilitation, and equipment for diagnosis and clinical analysis.
Since January 2021, the bank group manages the Almendralejo hospital, following an agreement with cajalmendralejo, with the aim of converting this center into a first-rate hospital and socio-sanitary complex in Extremadura. The agreement with the Almendralejo Town Hall and the Extremadura Health Service make this hospital an example of public-private collaboration, to which the Ribera group offers its experience and proven excellence, after more than two decades of managing health centers in national and international projects.
The Ribera y Cajalmendralejo health group, which owns the facility, is working on a project to renovate and adapt the infrastructure of the Ribera Almendralejo Hospital, which involves a very ambitious reform to introduce new medical services and offer comprehensive and excellent health care to citizens. Notable among them is a powerful Radiodiagnosis service, with state-of-the-art technology, and specialized services, such as clinical analysis and physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Currently, the Ribera Almendralejo Hospital has 60 professionals. But the Ribera group's commitment to the project will mean the creation of new direct and indirect jobs, as well as involvement in the social, business and cultural fabric of the municipality, with initiatives focused on prevention and health education.
