El Hospital de Dénia has been integrated into the Breast Area of the Ribera healthcare group from where the care and scientific activity of more than 50 specialists in breast pathology is coordinated, to assess, from a holistic view, each case of breast cancer, regardless of the hospital of the group to which the patient belongs.
Under the corporate direction of Dr. Julia Camps, the Dénia Hospital has joined the Breast Area, which has a multidisciplinary team already established in the university hospitals of Torrejon, Vinalopo and in health centers Ribera Povisa, polusa, Holy Fair y Almond grove, all of them managed by the Ribera Group.
The team brings together professionals with more than 20 years of experience in breast pathologies, especially breast cancer, and provides patients with a shared and transversal program, with personalized attention and the best specialists in Spain to assess each case. jointly and transversally.
Together with the surgical coordinator, Dr. Lorenzo Rabadán, and the pathology coordinator, Dr. Laia Bernet, Dr. Camps has promoted the unification of care processes and circuits, valid in all the group's centers, as well as the networking of all the professionals who approach breast pathology from their own specialty, but with uniform criteria.
