The Ribera health group collaborates with the Vigo writer Offreds to help raise awareness about the value of caring

    • In the context of World Book Day, Ribera hospitals will decorate some rooms with original texts by this author and influencer, inspired by the importance and value of the care that health professionals provide to patients and families.
    • In addition, five publications have been planned on social networks and bookmarks will be distributed among patients and professionals with their inspirational phrases.

The health group Ribera and the writer Jose Ángel Gómez Iglesias, better known as Offreds, have launched a special collaboration in which the Vigo writer has created several inspiring texts with which he raises awareness of the importance of care. This campaign, which is launched in the context of Book Day, reinforces the value of literature and writing as therapeutic support, in addition to supporting the responsible health model promoted by the Ribera health group for the care of its patients. with special attention to the professionalism of its health workers, humanization and care.

The collaboration between the Ribera group and Offreds involves the publication of five posts on social networks, which began on Wednesday, April 24, with the phrase “The hug that makes you feel at home. I wish always”, and will continue periodically until the month of June, in joint publications on the social networks of the hospital, the Ribera health group and the creator, who has more than 950.000 followers on his Instagram account alone. The texts created by Offreds for the Ribera Povisa hospital they emphasize the value of care, hope, optimism and support, but as is usual in the phrases proposed by the Galician creator, they are open to multiple interpretations depending on the sensitivity of the reader or their personal vital moment.

    Offreds

The collaboration project has transcended social networks with different supports in Ribera hospitals. On the one hand, the phrases created by Offreds have been reproduced on physical media and can now be read in various areas of the group's healthcare centers, such as waiting rooms, extraction rooms, dialysis units or the day hospital.

On the other hand, on the occasion of Book Day celebrated on April 23, Ribera hospitals have distributed bookmarks, in which one of Offreds' phrases are reproduced among admitted patients and professionals at each center to reinforce the campaign.

The collaboration with Jose Ángel Gómez reinforces the Ribera healthcare group's commitment to creativity, to add value to its brand, as well as its intention to reach a greater number of people, including the youngest, and thus contribute to creating awareness of the importance of turning to official health sources to access reliable health information, from authorized voices with specialized training.
