Regarding the recent reports published about our organization, the Ribera healthcare group deeply regrets the media frenzy generated by the malicious interpretation of a partial excerpt from a recording of the company's CEO and wishes to state that:
- The Ribera group's top priority is and will continue to be its patients in each and every one of the centers it manages, both public and private.
- The ethics of the professionals who make up the organization are beyond question, and their daily practice responds to a single objective: to care for the health of patients with a vocation for service.
- The recently published information regarding excerpts from a recording of an internal meeting at Torrejón Hospital does not reflect the full content of the meeting and is taken out of context. Nevertheless, in an act of corporate responsibility, CEO Pablo Gallart has voluntarily requested to step aside from the management of Torrejón Hospital while the group conducts an audit.
- This situation in no way calls into question the work carried out by the more than 9.000 professionals of the Ribera Group in its more than 100 workplaces across the six countries in which it operates. No practice contrary to the general interest of citizens has occurred at any Ribera Group facility.
- Throughout our history, we have been the target of unfounded attacks motivated by political reasons, unrelated to our reality as a healthcare organization. We remain outside this political debate and continue to focus our efforts on defending our professionals, providing the best possible service to our patients, and strengthening our commitment to all the entities and institutions with which we collaborate.
