The traditional beds and stretchers have been replaced by a couple of remote-controlled electric cars that the boys and girls can get on to be transferred, promoting the empowerment of patients and the humanization of care.
And it is that, the moment of transferring a child to the operating room, like the minutes before any invasive test, usually generates fear in the smallest patients. This state can affect when administering anesthesia and even when waking up. From now on, the little ones admitted who require transfer to specific areas within the hospital or to the surgical block itself, will be able to do so mounted in a fabulous red convertible driven by themselves, always guided through the remote control by a health professional.
With this initiative, boys and girls have fun while they go to hospital operating rooms to undergo surgery or any invasive test. In this way, anxiety and stress levels are reduced and the predisposition of children to undergo any medical test improves.
From now on, the pediatric corridors of both hospitals will be able to see these peculiar transfers that undoubtedly bring benefits in terms of well-being and health.
