    El Degree in Nursing belongs to the branch of knowledge of Health Sciences and it is developed to train nurses responsible for general care in all areas of health services and in those spaces that, although they are not in the hospital environment, require the presence of Graduates in Nursing.

    Nursing is a regulated profession, that is, one whose professional activity is subordinated to legal provisions and the possession of a certain professional qualification, for which the Degree in Nursing qualifies for the exercise of the nursing profession, based on ORDER CIN/2134 /2008, of July 3, which establishes the requirements for the verification of official university degrees that qualify for the exercise of the Nursing profession.

    The Title has planned a training total of 240 ECTS credits, divided into eight semesters, with a duration of four school years and with a kind of character teaching in-person.

    Number of maximum new entry places offered in the first year implantation by teaching modality: 70 seats.

    Languages used in the training process: Spanish and Galician.

    ENTRY AND ADMISSION

    No additional tests are established for access to the Bachelor's degree in Nursing, adhering only to what is established by the CIUG and by the current regulations of University of Vigo.

    SUPPORT AND FOLLOW-UP

    The enrolled student has a support and follow-up system, firstly through the University of Vigo and through the Tutorial Action Plan (PATEUE) from the center.

    This degree enables access to the second and third degree of academic development (Master's and Doctorate) and to the specific specialties of the degree defined by the Ministry of Health.
