El Assistens Medical Center was founded in A Coruña in May 2003, the result of the vocation of a group of medical professionals. Since then, it has grown to become a reference center in Galicia, with more than 70 specialists who combine healthcare assistance and outreach. In August 2024, it will join the network of hospitals and clinics of the Ribera Group, renovating its facilities and expanding its services with the addition of two operating rooms, allowing for outpatient surgeries with maximum safety and quality of care.
