Yesterday afternoon the Plaza de Baix became a meeting place where entire families could enjoy and learn about care and first aid thanks to the workshops that the Vinalopó Health Department, managed by the health group Ribera and belonging to the network of public health departments of the Valencian Community, installed until nightfall.
And the Vinalopó Health Department participated yesterday afternoon in the Conference that the Elche City Council organized to commemorate the International Day of Cardiorespiratory Arrest.
The little ones in the house, accompanied by their families, were able to participate in a circuit of five workshops to learn what an operating room is like inside, how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation correctly, how to perform proper hand hygiene, first aid and a workshop yoga and stretching.
In addition, and aimed at an adult audience, Primary Care professionals offered four talks on the stage installed by the Elche City Council for the occasion. Attendees were able to hear information from professionals about the correct use of new technologies, healthy eating, what to do in emergencies and accidents, and information about the importance of vaccines and updating the vaccination schedule.
A fun day that had a great participation of residents of Elche who did not want to miss this initiative.
